The Marrakech Comedy Festival is an annual international comedy festival held in the Red City. It was launched by Jamel Debbouze in 2011 and each year hosts a variety of international and Moroccan comedic artists. Since its inception, the French channel M6 has been broadcasting the festival. The cost of each edition of the Marrakech Comedy Festival is estimated at 32 million Moroccan dirhams equivalent to 3 million euros
