In the morning, departure from Marrakech to reach Mhamid, at the gateway to the desert (455 km), passing through the Atlas Mountains and the Draa Valley.
Visits and stops can be arranged at your convenience during the journey (Atlas villages, Tichka Pass, Ait Ben Haddou, Zagora, Tamegreoute, etc.). Overnight stay in the old kasbah of Mhamid El Ghizlane.

Early in the morning, after loading the camels, we follow the hamada (rocky desert plateau) to discover Erg Zmila. Here, we are at the far eastern edge of the Draa Valley. The walk progresses in rhythm with the shade we find along the way, in the afternoon at the Zmila dunes, with a genuine “end of the world” sensation.
Heading southwest towards Erg Zahar, also called “singing dunes” (due to the light sounds caused by the wind). These majestic sand dunes provide a breathtaking
Continuation of the trek to reach Ait Ounir, then “Bora Bora,” located near the wells of the Draa River. This is an opportunity to perhaps spot a herd of camels coming to drink or meet a nomadic shepherd. Night under the desert stars
Return to Mhamid. In the morning, we fold up the bivouac and load the camels. We resume the walk towards Lbour and then to the village of Mhamid. Overnight stay at the inn.
